250 mm Drum-Style Hydraulic-Feed Chippers

The perfect unit for tree-fellers, road contractors and plant hire companies. Large enough to be classified as a high production unit, yet small enough to be moved around on site. Fans added on both sides of the drum create the ultimate discharge velocity to compact chips at the back of a truck so that you can load the most material possible. The hydraulic lift & crush feature gives the operator the ultimate control by improving efficiency by crushing side branches and allowing the top feed roller to climb onto large logs with ease. The toolbox is added to carry the necessary tools and a spare wheel is included for peace of mind when on site. The 4250 Series with an ultra-wide in-feed opening and ultra powerful Parker hydraulic motors makes this unit a must-have when chipping large amounts of brush with lots of side branches. The foldable feed tray comes standard and assists the operator in placing large amounts of small material into the machine and creating a safer working distance for feeders and the operator. The clip-on belt-cover saves time on maintenance and the lock-pin on the drum ensures easy blade maintenance. This unit is built standard with a 65Hp Kirloskar air-cooled diesel engine, which is a real ‘die hard’. The M4250AFE is also available on request with a 85Hp Perkins* water-cooled 4-cylinder diesel engine.
