Agri Mega Day in Otjiwarongo, Namibia

Our TOMCAT Chippers team are back from another successful farmers’ day in Namibia last week. The Agri Mega Day was held on 20 June 2019 just outside Otjiwarongo, Namibia and hosted by the Kalkfeld Farmers Association. The show was organised very well and a large number of people attended.

Most farmers who visited us came to learn more about Bos Tot Kos (Bushfeed/Boskos) – the process of producing animal feed from encroaching bush. We had variety of chippers on display from our entry-level Model 125 AFE Screen Chipper, our very popular Model 150 AFE Chipper Shredder, all the way to our biggest Model 375 AFE. We demonstrated how efficiently and effortlessly our hydraulic-feed screen chippers and shredders produce animal feed – simply in one go! We also demonstrated how to physically make your own Boskos by adding the chop, molasses syrup etc. and putting it into the mixer.

It was encouraging to receive great feedback from customers and expo visitors in terms of production, the quality of our chippers, TOMCAT’s after sales service and support in the field. We want to thank JDE Agri in Otjiwarongo for their part in backing TOMCAT Wood Chippers in Namibia and making sure that are our clients are well looked after. Also a big thanks to every customer for their loyal support.
